Well, I’m just back from 12 days in Fossacesia and recovered from a 24-hour post-flight bug. (Thanks again, bacterial convention that is a transAtlantic flight.) I have some good stuff to post about olive harvesting and such, but need to get my notes organized. Please do stay tuned. In the meantime, I thought I’d start with something simple: a series of photos of a beautiful late October sunset shot from the windows (and through the screens, unfortunately) of my house. Some may have seen the grand finale photo I posted on facebook, but the progression of the light is pretty spectacular, too. I can’t even imagine what a competent photographer would have done with it. Here it is.
